Philippe Allaeys’ e15 Alex nesting tables are stunning in their simplicity. Each of the three escalating sizes features a simple thick circular top with three legs. The legs are characterized by their atypical square-shaped form.
The e15 Alex nesting tables look wonderful when stacked together – when separated, each becomes an impromptu practical surface. The 1.1” thick tops on each allow them to be also used informally as stools. The e15 Alex nesting tables are available in e15’s classic composition of solid northern European oiled oak or walnut; similarly these are available in the graphic option of black or white lacquered solid oak.
Philippe Allaeys was born and raised in Belgium. Following his studies in the field of architecture at the Saint-Lucas Institute in Ghent, he became involved as a freelance architect in several projects with some of the most prestigious architecture firms in Belgium. A number of his award-winning designs have been licensed and distributed worldwide. Allaeys’ other designs for e15 – Leila coffee table, Noah bed, and Theo tray – are similarly underscored by the designer’s keen sense of minimalism and flexibility.
